Laura Urgelles is a dancer and actress of Cuban descent. Her work includes Marta D’Ocon’s film The War Within (Cannes 2022 AmPav Emergent Filmmaker Selection), Mike Cuenca’s Like A Dirty French Novel, Butter by Jessica Janos (Seduced, Prettyface), and Darren Lynn Bousman’s immersive theatre plays The Lust Experience: Anointed and Theatre Macabre (Saw II, III, IV, Spiral). She has also collaborated with writer Heather McDonald and choreographer Susan Shields on the production of Stay, which opened at The Lansburgh Theatre in Washington DC, and with Tony Award winner Christopher Wheeldon on many occasions (An American in Paris).
