In There She Goes, Locke plays Rosie, a girl with learning disabilities. David Tennant and Jessica Hynes play her parents, while Edan Hayhurst plays her brother in the comedy drama created from Shaun Pye and Sarah Crawford’s family experiences.[1]
Locke met the person who inspired Rosie and studied videos shared by the writers. In the cast’s 2023 interview, she described working with Pye and Crawford on the character’s responses in individual scenes.[1]
The 2023 special returned to the family as Rosie entered adolescence. Locke discussed the ease of reuniting with the ensemble and recalled filming a chaotic soup scene with Tennant and Hynes.[1]
Locke stars with Johnny Harris and Sheherazade Makhoul Farrell in Muayad Alayan’s A House in Jerusalem. The film centres on a bereaved child who moves from Britain to Jerusalem and encounters another girl connected with her new home.[2]
Locke’s later television credits include Georgie Hughes in Amandaland, the comedy centred on Amanda’s family. The role adds another continuing comedy character to her screen work after Rosie.[3]
