The Voice and the original Hits The Musical national tour.
At nine, Leberknight sang in an a cappella group that opened for the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Her original Hits tour biography identifies that performance as an early introduction to a major New York stage.[2]
She joined the original national tour of Hits The Musical in 2023 as a featured singer. The tour programme lists her hometown as Holmdel and records earlier appearances at New York’s Cutting Room and New Jersey’s Stone Pony.[3]
Her performing background extends beyond theatre. She has sung lead and played keyboards in a rock band, composed piano music and trained as a dancer. Her credits include Kidz Bop videos and professional ballet productions.[2]
Holmdel High School announced her selection for the NJMEA Honors Modern Band programme in December 2025. The district reported a vocal audition score of 97 out of 100, the highest among applicants. Its linked audition videos identify her as Mia Knight.[1]
Her school later announced that Leberknight would appear on The Voice. The 2026 singing competition added a national television credit to the live performances and music training already recorded under her full name.[4]
