Kiki Pugh, also known as McKinley Pugh, is a political science graduate student and contestant on The Traitors Canada season 4.
Kiki studies political science at McGill and has researched African states and the International Criminal Court, alongside student governance work.
Pugh is pursuing an MA at McGill University and is a student fellow at the Centre for International Peace and Security Studies. Her supervisor is political scientist Khalid Medani.[2]
Before McGill, she served in student governance at the University of Guelph. Official Senate minutes identify her as a Student Senate Caucus Co-Chair.[6]
Pugh received the 2025 John F. Melby Honours Thesis Award for research on African states and the International Criminal Court. Her academic honours also include a 2026 Canada Graduate Research Scholarship.[2]
In her own casting announcement, Pugh said she had stepped away briefly during her MA to join The Traitors. She described the decision as making room for a personal passion.[3]
Speaking to RHAP before filming, she connected political science with negotiation and strategy. She hoped a sociable first impression would cause others to underestimate how closely she was following the game.[7]
