Main cast member
Vanderpump Rules
She joined the Bravo reality series in its early years and became part of its central cast for roughly a decade.[2][4]
Ariana Madix is an American reality television star, host, actor and author known for Vanderpump Rules, Love Island USA and her Broadway turn in Chicago.
Ariana Madix's career makes more sense as a sequence than as a reinvention. Years of reality television put her under constant observation; a dance competition tested performance in real time; Chicago placed her on a scripted stage; and Love Island USA turned her into the person guiding other people's unscripted moments. The connective skill is composure without flattening her point of view.
Madix joined Vanderpump Rules during its early seasons and remained part of its central ensemble for about a decade. In late 2023 she finished third on Dancing with the Stars, then made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart. Hosting Love Island USA became the durable next chapter, earning her an Emmy nomination by 2026, while her cocktail books and the Something About Her sandwich shop kept a separate hospitality thread in view.

Her Broadway debut came as Roxie Hart in the long-running musical Chicago in January 2024.[6]
Host
She became the dating show's host and earned an Emmy nomination for the role by 2026.[3][4]
Madix joined Vanderpump Rules in its second season and became a main cast member as the show settled into its long-running ensemble. Marie Claire later described that chapter as 10 years of a very different kind of performance. It gave viewers a sustained record of her wit, boundaries, work and changing place inside the group rather than a single competition-season snapshot.[2][4]
On season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, Madix and professional partner Pasha Pashkov stayed through the five-couple finale and placed third. The run mattered because it asked for a new routine under live judging each week, showing performance discipline outside the social dynamics that had defined her reality-TV work.[5][6]
Less than two months after the dance finale, Madix made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago on January 29, 2024. The role connected her public career back to the theatre training she completed before reality television, and it required a full musical performance rather than an appearance built around her existing persona.[6][7]
Peacock brought Madix in to host Love Island USA, and by 2026 she was leading the series for a third season. Her job is to enter at turning points, deliver rules clearly and still respond to a production that changes around her. That balance brought her first Emmy nomination for outstanding host of a reality or reality-competition program.[3][4]
The on-screen expansion did not erase Madix's hospitality background. Penguin Random House identifies her as a bartender since 2008 and published her solo book Single AF Cocktails in 2023. In May 2024, she and Katie Maloney opened the Something About Her sandwich shop, turning years of restaurant experience into a business they controlled themselves.[8][9]
Before her television career, Madix completed degrees in theatre and broadcast communications at Flagler College.[7]
Madix and Pasha Pashkov were one of five finalist couples in season 32 and ended the competition in third place.[5][6]
Clarkson Potter published the 176-page book on December 5, 2023, and lists it as a New York Times bestseller.[8]
Madix and Katie Maloney opened their West Hollywood sandwich shop after a long planning and permitting process documented on Bravo.[9]
